3g is the next generation in guitar design

OUR STORY

More than 30 years ago, I had an idea to build a guitar with unlimited access and no interference from the heel or neck joint. After experimenting with a number of neck-thru designs, I came to a common conclusion: without advanced electronics and active pickups, the neck-thru guitar design was tonally inferior to bolt-on or set neck guitars.

I set out to create a design that featured the access I wanted, but with the tonal qualities I loved from my traditional bolt-on 'S'-style guitars. I am proud to present 3G's flagship guitar — the 3G Performer!

3G Guitars are built with superior craftsmanship and quality, thanks to our chief of design and engineering Jason Lindsey. We’ve also partnered with like-minded innovators to give you the best features out there: bridges by Adam Reiver of FU-Tone, Tremol-No™, and of course Seymour Duncan pickups.

Here at 3G, we are setting the new standard for what a great guitar should be. Along with our patented 3G technology, we are excited to share what we feel is a paradigm shift in electric guitar design: unlimited access, richer tones thanks to a deeper neck tenon, and even more resonance with our new Tone Guard technology. With superior ergonomics, the playing ability is second to none. 3G Guitars are for anyone who wants a single instrument that can do everything you need at any show or session, allowing you to confidently express all your ideas without limitation.

3G Guitars is owned and operated out of Santa Cruz, California in the good old USA. Cali is where it all started with the first generation more than 60 years ago, and now the 3rd Generation has arrived!
